Cerec Facbrication System

Dr. Eckstein now offers restorations in one office visit with the technology of the CEREC fabrication system.

With CEREC Dr. Eckstein can provide patients with a permanent, all ceramic crown, onlay, or veneer in a single office visit! For you, the patient, this means fewer injections, less drilling, and less time out of your hectic schedule for dental care.

CEREC allows Dr. Eckstein to use strong, tooth colored ceramic materials to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty, and function.

The material is bonded to your tooth, so Dr. Eckstein can save as much healthy tooth tissue as possible while providing a dental restoration that strengthens the tooth.

Call our office today to find out how you can have a healthy, beautiful smile in one office visit.

Neuromuscular (TENS)

This therapy helps relax your jaw muscles. When jaws and muscles are in conflict,
symptoms include headaches, clenching, grinding, pain behind eyes, ringing or congestion
in the ears. TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Neuromuscular Stimulation) works in fresh blood, oxygen and nourishment for the jaw muscles, helping them to relax and alleviate
symptoms.

Smile Imaging (Dicom Software)
Wondering what your new smile will look like? That's why we have smile imaging, so that you don't have to leave it up entirely to your imagination. Computer smile imaging gives you a preview of what your new smile will look like.

How does it work?

  • First, you'll tell us about the changes you'd like us to make to your smile.
  • Second, we take a digital photograph of your smile.
  • Third, we select a smile design that incorporates the characteristics you desire.
  • Finally, we print out your "new smile" so that you can discuss the exciting possibilities with your family and friends.

DIAGNOdent System™
The DIAGNOdent laser can detect tiny cavities without using x-rays. In the past, small cavities would have been undetectable until they had caused considerable damage.

With the DIAGNOdent laser, they are identified with greater precision and clarity. It works by processing the reflection of light wavelengths, which are beamed back to a small hand held device that identifies where cavities may be hiding.

Diagnostic Wax Up
We create an impression of your teeth to find out exactly where your problem areas are, and create a replica of how your new treatment will look with specially formed wax that resembles the size, color, and shape of your teeth.

Menu

Intraoral Camera
With an intraoral camera, we can magnify your mouth up to twenty-five times and show you exactly what we're talking about on a screen. This allows you to see for yourself the crack, the stain, the gap, and the receding gumline. You don't just have to take our word for it anymore.

Menu

Magnification loupes
We use a pair of high magnification loops, or glasses, to help us perform perfect, precise, and accurate dentistry.

Menu

Electric Hand pieces (NSK)
These allow us to work fast and efficiently, and almost silently. We have found that patients used to be afraid of the loud drilling noise, and they now appreciate our quiet hand piece.

CAESY Patient Education
This is a CD-Rom educational system to help answer just about any dental-related questions you might have. By last count, we had more than 100 presentations lasting from two to four minutes with pictures to help visualize your options. Of course, as always, you're always welcome to ask one of our staff in person about any concerns you might have.
