Meet Paul F. Eckstein, DMD

After Dr. Eckstein earned his bachelor's of science degree in exercise physiology from the University of Pittsburgh, he received his DMD degree from the same university in 1991. To further enhance his dental skills, he attended a residency program at the Hillsborough County Dental Research Clinic until 1992. That same year, he launched his private practice in Seminole, Florida.

Professional Involvement
Dr. Eckstein believes in keeping up with the latest techniques and materials in dentistry, which is why he belongs to several dental organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, and Pinellas County Dental Association.

After Hours
Dr. Eckstein is married to Nga T. Eckstein, a Florida licensed consultant pharmacist. Together they have two children, Dalton and Kara. Dr. Eckstein is an ordained Elder at Faith Presbyterian Church in Seminole, Florida. He is a certified rescue diver and enjoys spear fishing, and scuba diving. Dr. Eckstein is also an avid snow skier and loves playing the guitar, and spending time with his family. In fact he and his family all share a passion for Tae Kwon Do. The doctor is a 2nd Dan Black Belt, and his wife and children have their Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do. Their son, Dalton, and their daughter Kara are both Tae Kwon Do assistant instructors

Jan C. - Registered Dental Hygienist

At E Dental Jan performs cleanings, x-rays, oral cancer screenings, soft tissue management, sealants, patient education and provides home care instructions. She has been in dentistry for 30 years and has been with Dr. Eckstein since he began practicing. Jan received her Associates Art degree at Santa Fe Community College and her Associates Science degree at St. Pete Junior College. When not providing exceptional dental care you will find Jan with her other passion, her artwork.

Jan and her husband live in Madiera Beach with their Silky Terrier.

What Jan enjoys most about working at E Dental is the opportunity to spend time with current patients and to get to know new patients. Our patients say that Jan is very thorough but gentle, and a great listener.

Maridel F. - Dental Hygienist

At E Dental Maridel provides cleanings, soft tissue management, patient education, x-rays and sealants. Maridel has been in dentistry for 35 1/2 years and with Dr. Eckstein since he began practicing. She holds a SPJC- Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene.

Maridel, a native of Florida lives with her husband who works for Pinellas County.

Maridel enjoys being able to provide high-level professional services and the interaction she is allowed with her patients. Our patients say they appreciate Maridel’s thoroughness and gentleness as well as her comforting presence.

Patricia “Trish” K. - Dental Assistant

Trish is an expanded duties assistant and has been in the field of dentistry for 25 years, and with Dr. Eckstein for 6 years. She has completed course work in expanded duties and in x-ray, and is looking forward to continuing her education in the dental field.

Trish and her husband have been married for 6 years and have 2 sons and a daughter.

Trish enjoys working with patients, educating them in better oral care, helping patients overcome their fear of dental procedures. She also provides exceptional care to our elderly patients. Trish truly cares that all her patients have a happy, healthy smile and feels she is able to help provide that with E Dentals advanced dental care.
